Katie Maehl
I am a master’s student at Gonzaga University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I place high value on authenticity and meaningful connections with everyone I work with. My hope is to create a non-judgmental space where individuals can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In my approach, I prioritize empathy, understanding, and empowerment while supporting the client to achieve their counseling goals and overall wellness.
I am originally from Montana and moved to Spokane for my graduate studies. I achieved my B.S. in Psychology from Montana State University. I chose to pursue a career in counseling because I believe in and value how intricate each individual is. Sitting down with a client and assisting them to discover their goals and meaning is a true privilege. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, reading, creating art, and spending time with my friends and family.
